Presentations and Awards announcements are available now on the NASPL Matrix!

NASPL, along with our hosts at the Wisconsin Lottery, were pleased to welcome so many delegates to Milwaukee earlier this month for our Annual Conference and Trade Show.

While there, our esteemed keynote speakers and industry experts shared valuable insights, while attendees gained access to the latest cutting-edge lottery systems and services.

Welcome to Milwaukee!

Your NASPL 2023 Host Wisconsin Lottery

Brewing and Milwaukee go hand in hand. Wisconsin has long been known for its love of brewing beer, dating all the way back to the 1840s. Iconic brews born in Milwaukee include Miller, Schlitz, Pabst and Blatz, so you could say brewing the best is in our blood. Many breweries once called Milwaukee home, and this has helped bring Milwaukee to the top of the leaders list. That's why it was pretty easy and seemingly fitting that this year's NASPL theme is "Brewing the Best."

Brewing something great takes time and effort, and the planning for this year's event has been no exception. We have been carefully crafting a NASPL Annual Conference over this past year that we feel will give attendees a true Wisconsin experience. When we think of Wisconsin, we think of polka music, cheese in every form, sausage, cows, craft beer, and Old Fashioneds. We plan to surround you with all this goodness and so much more, and of course do it all with a "Midwest-nice" smile.

Speaking of Brewing the Best, we've been doing just that for the final night of the conference at the Fiserv Forum. Taking place on the court of the new state-of-the-art home to the NBA Milwaukee Bucks, you will enjoy a night packed with music, food, entertainment, drinks, shootin' hoops, stadium tours, and city views from the sky bar. Since ad finalists will be shown throughout the conference, it made sense to lower the Jumbotron 23 feet off the court to show the winners throughout the final evening.  It’ll be a new experience from the formal, sit-down ballroom dinners of the past. So come dressed in what makes you feel comfortable to enjoy the night, as this is definitely more casual than previous years.

The NASPL '23 educational track will highlight the best of the best as well. We look forward to offering you an international panel and keynote speakers who are highly respected individuals within their careers. A variety of breakout sessions will be focused on sharing case studies of Lottery successes across a mix of business areas. You will also want to explore all that our vendors have to offer on the trade show floor. After all, it’s your last chance to do so until 2025 – the NASPL membership recently voted to move the trade show part of the annual event to every other year.

When we all come together, there is so much to be gained from one another.  We look forward to those connections being made, and knowledge being shared, at this year's NASPL in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I am so excited to host you all!

Hope to see you there!

Hello NASPL Members!

I am so excited to join you in Milwaukee for NASPL 2023. Cindy and her team at the Wisconsin Lottery have put together a great program for attendees under the theme “Brewing the Best.”  The agenda is loaded with great speakers from around the industry and around the world. I’m certainly looking forward to facilitating the international panel of lottery experts. The trade show is also back this year, thanks to the support of our Associate Members, who will highlight their latest products. We’ll also induct the latest class into the Lottery Hall of Fame.

Cindy has promised plenty of food and drink to represent Wisconsin’s rich history in the brewing and dairy industries. Overall, I think the conference is shaping up to be very “gouda” and even “cheddar” than before! So, if the change in the weather has you feeling “bleu,” register today for NASPL 2023.

Okay, enough with the cheesy jokes. We look forward to seeing you all in Milwaukee!

Brewing the Best

National Geographic has named Milwaukee one of the best places in the world to visit in 2023. It should be no surprise that there are endless options to experience when adventuring in Milwaukee. Take the Bublr Bikes around the city. Visit the Harley-Davidson Museum and see the first motorcycle. Walk the RiverWalk and see the Fonz in bronze. Take in the Historic Third Ward or Public Market. Visit the Milwaukee Art Museum. Try a Sobleman's Bloody Mary. Take a tour of one of the many breweries that call Milwaukee home. The extraordinary culture of Brew City is one to not miss!
